Full Sail's campus is located in beautiful Winter Park, a community within Orlando that is rich in history, art, and entertainment. Winter Park features a picturesque downtown complete with sprawling parks and friendly people. While in the area, you can take time to visit the fine restaurants and boutiques located along peaceful Park Avenue, before heading over to the Orlando Science Center, Orlando Museum of Art, and Leu Gardens, all of which are just minutes from Full Sail.
As for Orlando's main draw, the theme parks, Full Sail is a half-hour from Disney, Universal Studios, Sea World, and all the shopping and attractions of International Drive.
If you’re looking for live music or dancing, House of Blues and Hard Rock Live are both within the nearby area, and Orlando's downtown has many options for entertainment, including The Social – featuring local and national bands – and The Improv for comedy.
The Bob Carr Performing Arts Center and TD Waterhouse center play host to larger concerts, as well as games for national sports clubs in basketball – Orlando Magic, football – Orlando Predators, and hockey – Orlando Seals.
For the film buffs, the independent Enzian theater – home to the Florida Film Festival – is nearby, as well as three large multiplex theaters. In addition, Orlando is home to an Imax theater, located on International Drive.
