Four of Full Sail's degree programs utilize talent from the artistic community.
Recording Arts and Recording Engineering students work with talented artists in our world-class recording studios as part of their curriculum. Full Sail's Artist Relations department schedules both solo artists and full bands for students sessions throughout the year. In addition to studio experience, both rough mixes and session master files are available to artists who choose to participate in student sessions.

The Show Production Bachelor's Degree Program teaches students all aspects of live production, creating a need for artists to perform for student Live Labs. Our students provide full production for the band, including FOH mix, monitor mix, lighting, and a three-camera video shoot. Artists will receive a VHS and CD the night of the lab and a mixed-down DVD at a later time.

Full Sail's Film students write their own scripts, create their own sets, and cast the talent for film projects, as they produce and shoot multiple short films as part of their education. The Film department casts for several student films every month.
