Requirements & Contact Information
Artists that would like to be scheduled for these labs should be serious about their musical development and recording goals.

Bands with horns and other acoustic instruments of various types will get priority booking because of the different micing techniques that these instruments require, which in turn provides better experience for the students. Electronic music is encouraged as long as live drums are part of the recording.

Artists who provide a CD-R will receive a rough mix on that disc and can obtain separate audio file masters on CD for a small transfer fee if desired.

During the sessions, we ask for your patience and understanding in working with our students in this educational environment. All consideration will be given in an effort to provide you with a professional recording experience, and with that in mind, we ask that you review the following session recording guidelines:

  • The artist must appoint one spokesperson to make all scheduling arrangements with Full Sail's Artist Relations department.
  • The spokesperson will be responsible for all the other musicians and must be present at every scheduled recording session
  • No inappropriate lyrical subject matter or content is permitted
  • The artists must provide their own musical equipment
  • The artists should have their music arranged, rehearsed, and organized before arriving for the session

Artists must submit an application and live lab artist agreement including a CD with at least 3 sample songs prior to acceptance
