Susan is an artist, teacher, and activist with a specialization in digital art, new media and videogames. Her artwork and writing has been featured in numerous galleries, museums and publications. She is the founder of the Global Game Jam, which she also serves as Executive Director. Susan also serves as chairperson of the International Game Developers Association Education Special Interest Group, and her work has created numerous resources for instructors in game education. Susan is also a partner in the Game Program Review, a consulting firm specializing in game education game curricula.
Robert holds a Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, a Master of Business Administration (Technology Management), and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. He is also a Doctoral Candidate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at the University of Central Florida. Robert’s teaching career began in the Navy as an instructor at the Nuclear Power Training Unit with courses including electrical theory, reactor plant theory, electrical plant operations and systems maintenance. He also taught with the department of psychology at the University of Central Florida for 5 years and his courses included Motivation, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Social Psychology, and Psychology of Diversity.
Robin Koman received a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Central Florida. Her undergraduate coursework was completed at Stetson University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre. Robin is a published author, freelance designer, playwright, and gamer, as well as a regular instructor at the Orlando Science Center’s annual Otronicon event. Robin joined Full Sail in 2004, and her tenure has also included teaching courses in Ethics & Psychology and Historical Archetypes & Mythology.
Roy earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in Film/Animation from the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Roy began working as a production artist in the game industry for Radical Entertainment in 1994 and soon moved into an Art Direction role. Roy then formed Rival Studios where he developed prototypes and new IP that they pitched to major publishers. His most recent industry experience was at EA Tiburon working as an Art Production Manager and Development Manager. His published titles include Madden NFL 10, Superman Returns, and Robin Hood Defender of the Crown.
