Students at Full Sail University have always benefited from the extensive industry experience that our instructors offer. Here's a small sampling of the instructors teaching this degree program.
Jennifer began teaching at Full Sail University in 2007, and in 2010, she accepted the challenge of creating and launching a two-year Digital Video Production curriculum for High School students in Florida’s Osceola County School District. In addition to writing lesson plans tailored to engage the special needs student, Jennifer was tasked with budgeting a generous state grant, purchasing industry-standard equipment, and later building multiple production studios from empty classrooms. After the graduation of the inaugural class, Jennifer returned to Full Sail to build the Project Planning and Development class within the Digital Cinematography Bachelor of Science Program, her current teaching position. Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film, Video, and Media from LaRoche College in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She obtained a Film Production Certificate through Pittsburgh Filmmakers School, where she completed an Internship that required her assistance planning various special events, including the annual Pittsburgh Film Festival. Jennifer later completed her Master of Arts degree in Media Studies online with The New School University, while continuing to teach and mentor students concurrently.
Alejandro Javier Ginzo has been in the film and video business since 1997, primarily as a location sound mixer and boom operator, but also with extensive experience in non-linear editing and ENG camera operations. While working in production sound, Alejandro amassed considerable working knowledge of modern location audio equipment such as ENG field mixers, wireless microphones, live audio, and digital recorders, knowledge that he put to use in a wide body of work including commercials, short films, feature films, reality television, and music videos. At Full Sail, Alejandro also works on the production side as a producer for the student shoots in the Film Production department.
