Design Integration
Integration is one of the most crucial parts of the game development process, where the artists, programmers, and designers bring their individual components together, and test how they work in the context of the original design proposal. This is where features get cut, and release dates are made or broken. Our Game Design curriculum explores how the integration process is handled at professional gaming studios, teaching you methods for combining the code and art at appropriate production milestones, testing and tracking bugs, and troubleshooting any design issues that arise. You’ll also look at effective project management and leadership methods that will help keep your game on schedule (and under budget), which you’ll apply into your role as a creative designer on future projects, and in your career in the industry.
