Portfolio Development
By the time you’ve reached the end of your degree program, you will have worked on a wide range of projects – and as you prepare for your job search, you’re going to want to be able to communicate your personal style to potential employers.
During your Portfolio Development course, you’ll be given the opportunity to review all of the print, web, and motion graphics work you’ve created throughout the program, and select and refine your signature pieces.
Your instructors will work with you to pull all of that content together into comprehensive physical and web-based portfolios that best highlight your technical, creative, and professional abilities as an artist.
Later, in the Personal Identity Project course, you’ll also create your own branding collateral across different types of media, including business cards and letterheads, as well as a 3D motion graphics logo, that identify your presence as an artist.
Whatever part of the industry you want to pursue your design career, it’s your work, and the quality of its presentation will help get you started on that path – and land you your first job as a professional designer.
