Dr. Marcus Alexander earned his Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction while simultaneously earning his MBA with dual Management Information Systems (MIS) and Marketing (Technical Consumer Behavior) specializations from Iowa State University. He has led several software development, interface design and business analyst projects during industry employment with Intel Corporation, Duke Energy Corporation and Bank of America. Dr. Alexander has trained industry and academic personnel in software engineering, statistical methodologies as well as user-interface design, tools and practices. He has a genuine passion for teaching, mentoring and innovation, especially for underrepresented ethnicities within the computing disciplines.
Dr. David Butler holds Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Anthropology from the University of Central Florida, a Master’s degree in Public Archaeology from the University of South Florida, and a Ph.D. in Applied Anthropology from the University of South Florida. The interplay between Internet marketing and consumer behavior is Dr. Butler’s research focus. As an educator, Dr. Butler has nearly a decade of college-level teaching experience focusing on the analysis of cultural behavior. Additionally, he has served as an Internet Marketing consultant for profit and non-profit organizations as well as his own small business.
Timi Cornell has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of South Florida and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. She was the Director of Online Media for the Tampa firm Flat World Media, where she was responsible for all paid search and interactive advertising and email marketing campaigns. Prior to that, she worked for Bisk Education in sales and customer service, marketing, and interactive media. Timi enjoys staying up-to-date on new and emerging Internet advertising technologies.
Diane Sadler Diaz has spent most of her life in Florida, and her education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of West Florida and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. She has a background in market research having managed a focus group facility, as well as working at a television station as a research director. Most recently, Diane directed the marketing efforts for a national land development company in the Central Florida community, which drew on her extensive background in marketing, advertising and promotions as well as brand development and management.
Jake Johnson's educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Miami and a Master’s Degree from the University of Central Florida. Jake has worked for Century 21 since 2005 and built his business from scratch to multi-million dollar sales entirely through Internet advertising.
