Dr. David Butler holds Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Anthropology from the University of Central Florida, a Master’s degree in Public Archaeology from the University of South Florida, and a Ph.D. in Applied Anthropology from the University of South Florida. The interplay between Internet marketing and consumer behavior is Dr. Butler’s research focus. As an educator, Dr. Butler has nearly a decade of college-level teaching experience focusing on the analysis of cultural behavior. Additionally, he has served as an Internet Marketing consultant for profit and non-profit organizations as well as his own small business.
Timi Cornell has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of South Florida and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. She was the Director of Online Media for the Tampa firm Flat World Media, where she was responsible for all paid search and interactive advertising and email marketing campaigns. Prior to that, she worked for Bisk Education in sales and customer service, marketing, and interactive media. Timi enjoys staying up-to-date on new and emerging Internet advertising technologies.
Diane Sadler Diaz has spent most of her life in Florida, and her education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of West Florida and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. She has a background in market research having managed a focus group facility, as well as working at a television station as a research director. Most recently, Diane directed the marketing efforts for a national land development company in the Central Florida community, which drew on her extensive background in marketing, advertising and promotions as well as brand development and management.
Jake Johnson's educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Miami and a Master’s Degree from the University of Central Florida. Jake has worked for Century 21 since 2005 and built his business from scratch to multi-million dollar sales entirely through Internet advertising.
In addition to acting as course director for Internet Marketing Fundamentals at Full Sail University, Maria is currently department chair for the Internet Marketing Masters Program. Prior to joining Full Sail, Maria was Director of University Marketing for Old Dominion University, in Norfolk Virginia, where she was responsible for overseeing all of the university’s online and offline marketing efforts. She has also worked as a market research analyst for the Daily Press Newspaper and was Internet Marketing Manager for Tribune Interactive. She has spent many years as an adjunct college instructor teaching marketing and other business courses at Virginia and Florida community colleges. Maria also worked in workforce development for a federally funded employment agency where she developed and facilitated work readiness training programs for youth and displaced workers. Maria earned her bachelor’s of science and MBA in marketing with a minor in computer science from the University of Central Florida.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and public relations from Westfield State College in Westfield, MA, Amy began her career at a full-service marketing agency, working for such clients as Bertucci’s, Mystic Aquarium, and Ronald McDonald House Charities. In 2004, she moved to Florida and began working with the group and marketing team for the Walt Disney World Company, where she assisted with the development of client marketing sites for the Disney convention. After developing an interest in PR and Internet marketing, she came to work for Full Sail’s internet marketing team, and eventually developed the internet PR strategy used by the university. Burrows now works as a course director for the Internet Marketing degrees, and continues to grow her interest in the field of PR while offering professional consulting services with a focus on PR strategy and brand development.
With more than a decade of teaching experience, Dr. Robert ‘Bob’ Parrillo is an interdisciplinary educator and entrepreneur with interests and expertise that link multiple disciplines from law to marketing to political science. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois and has worked as an attorney and as a senior editor for an internet legal information provider. Dr. Parrillo received his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a juris doctor from the John Marshall Law School, and a PhD in political science from Florida State University. His current research projects are in business and international law.
