Edward has spent over a decade working within the entertainment industry. He began his career at Warner Bros. and continued on to become Senior Producer for Disney ABC Cable Networks. Edward led many high profile projects for Disney, including the development and deployment of websites in support of their original television series, movies, and special events. He also oversaw projects for the Walt Disney Internet Group, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online, Sales and Travel Operations Worldwide, and the Disney Channel.

Gus Hernandez

Applied Design Tools and Interfaces

Gus has worked in the design industry for 11 years, and has created interface systems for notable Fortune 500 clients such as Nokia, Saab, Honda, Avis, Hertz, Pitney Bowes, and Compass Bank. His web design work is focused on improving the user experience through form and function, which has helped him become a sought-after consultant for various UI web/application integration projects. In addition to being a teacher, designer, and usability consultant, Gus is also a mixed media artist, and musician.

Michael Smotherman

Scripting for Web Applications 1 & 2

Michael is a professional developer with a background in desktop languages such as Java and C++, as well as web languages including PHP and JavaScript. Outside of his work at Full Sail, Michael is also a lead web developer, designer, and usability consultant, with a focus on JavaScript and framework deployment. He was also recipient of Full Sail’s 2009 Distinguished Educator award for the Web Design & Development program.
