Production Design
A film set doesn’t just happen – it’s carefully designed to match the feel and subject of the production, to serve as a perfect complement to the actors, dialogue, and costumes. In this course, you’ll learn all about the responsibilities of the production designer and his or her crew within the art department, as you receive training in script breakdown, storyboards, the effects of color, drafting, elevations, and set research. The course culminates with you and your fellow students designing a film set for use in the Film Production course.
