The standard was set pretty high with last year's inaugural Full Sail Hall of Fame, but somehow things got kicked up a notch at the 2010 Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

One of the most apparent additions to this year's festivities was of course the grand opening of the Full Sail Studios Gateway project, a multimillion dollar facility that's been under construction for months leading up to Hall of Fame week. The event kicked off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony under the archway of the Gateway project's new Full Sail Live venue. Opening remarks were given by Full Sail President Garry Jones, U.S. Congressman Alan Grayson, Florida Senate President Jeff Atwater, Speaker Designate of the Florida House of Representatives Dean Cannon, and Orange County Commissioner Bill Segal, and the ribbon was cut in front of an outdoor audience of students, faculty, and special guests.

Then came the moment everyone was waiting for – not just the first glimpse inside of the new Full Sail Live Venue, but the ceremony to bring the six inductees into the Full Sail Hall of Fame. Leslie Brathwaite, Steve Cainas, Troy Devolld, Marc Fishman, Kristifir Klein, and Martin "Tike" Santos all had their stories told through videos projected through the venue's enormous display screens. They were also inducted by close friends and peers from the entertainment industry, including Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins of GRAMMY-winning group TLC, Sound Designer Ric Viers, Hollywood Production Manager Beth DePatie, Director Dean DeBlois, and Film Editor Terilyn Shropshire. The Hall of Famers were also honored with pre-recorded videos from Peter Frampton, Rob Reiner, and 2009 Hall of Fame member Cordy Rierson.

After the ceremony, it was time to unveil the new Hall of Fame Wall. Showcasing pieces of memorabilia and significant markers of the Hall of Fame inductees careers, the wall sits in the Entertainment Business Lobby along with photos and quotes from the six members of this year's class.

Full Sail University's Hall of Fame recognizes those who have made outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment, media, and the arts.
