Enrolling in a college without visiting the campus first is kind of like buying a car without taking it for a test drive: it's not really recommended, especially if considering a program as intensive and one-of-a-kind as the ones offered at Full Sail. Two options are available to explore Full Sail University in-person: the Behind the Scenes Tour and daily tours.
The monthly Behind the Scenes Tour is a three-and-a-half hour comprehensive, degree-specific look into what being a student at Full Sail is like. It starts off with a live production in the school's HD Studio and Daily Buzz soundstage, followed by a degree-specific tour where students will learn more about the program they're interested in, visit classrooms, soundstages, and studios, and meet with staff and faculty members. Students and their families will also have the opportunity to speak with representatives from the Admissions, Financial Aid, Housing, and Career Development departments.
"The biggest benefit of the tour is that you can come in and actually get your hands on the equipment you'll be using," says Lee Estes, Full Sail's BTS Coordinator. "And actually be able to pick the brains of the instructors you're going to be working with."
Summer 2012 Behind the Scenes tours will be held on June 10, July 15, and August 12. If you can't make those dates, daily tours are available six days a week and provide an overview of all of the degrees offered at Full Sail, while exploring studios and learning spaces. These tours are offered on an hourly basis. For more information or to sign up for either option, call 877.392.5697.
