This fictional marketing campaign for the San Diego Zoo was conceived and designed by Timothy Smith (Digital Arts and Design, 2012 graduate). The concept behind this yearbook style ad shows the diversity at the zoo, and with each visit, you would get a trading card of an animal that would motivate return visits to collect more cards.

This album packaging redesign for the My Bloody Valentine album Loveless was designed by Dominick Garcia (Digital Arts and Design, 2013 graduate) for a class project.
In Dominick’s own words, “This packaging attempts to directly transfer the sound of the album to print; walls of swirling noise that are still beautifully simple. The art features heavily edited photography to emulate a dreamy state of vision with simple typography that does not intrude on the imagery. The inside features a collage of MBV’s photography.”
