Full Sail University is preparing to offer students an exciting new addition to its campus with the recent groundbreaking of the Full Sail Studios Gateway project. The 2.2 acre landmark project, slated for completion in the spring of 2010, will sit next to the Entertainment Business Building and will include a multi-purpose/live performance venue, game production studio, recording studio, outdoor plaza courtyard, and an expansion to the Hollywood-style Film Backlot. The 500 seat-capacity Live Venue will offer students the chance to work behind-the-scenes on a variety of on-campus events to be held in the 22,000 sq. foot facility, including live productions (including some national touring acts), panels, guest lectures, and more.
