Full Sail University is proud to announce that it has been named by StudentAdvisor.com as one of the Top 100 Social Media Colleges in the United States. The university, which offers online degree programs in Internet Marketing as part of its business school, currently holds the 34th position among the rankings.
The Top 100 Social Media Colleges ranking compares more than 6,000 federally recognized colleges in the United States in terms of their mastery of public social media methods, tools, and websites. Each school is reviewed upon how effectively they engage with their audiences using popular social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
In StudentAdvisor.com’s acknowledgement of Full Sail as the 34th ranked college, they stated “No surprise, this digital-arts savvy university is making waves in social media – and the Oscars.” Full Sail was recognized for its uses of social media websites and tools including its interaction through Facebook updates and events, sharing news and incorporating engagement on Twitter, content creation for YouTube, and the overall reach and effectiveness of the university’s message.
“Because of the fast-paced entertainment industry, Full Sail is continuously looking for better ways to maintain the relationships we build with our students and graduates,” said Isis Jones, Chief Information Officer of Full Sail University. “Social Media has proven to be an excellent platform to provide rich content while connecting and engaging with the online community.”
