This unique online degree program is designed to give teachers and corporate trainers the tools to bridge the gap between traditional education and the ever-expanding realm of technology and media, allowing them to create education for the 21st century.
In Full Sail University’s Education Media Design & Technology program, you’ll learn to utilize media creation tools and technology to create podcasts, video presentations, and more, and you’ll also study how alternate learning methods like video games, music, and educational multimedia can help you to develop a truly inspirational learning environment and be a content creator in your classroom. In addition, you’ll study a variety of learning theories and curriculum models, as you develop an understanding of which methods work best in a given learning environment.
And as you’re experiencing the Education Media Design & Technology curriculum through Full Sail University's innovative online learning system, you’ll explore how to create, improve, and fully utilize an online curriculum and delivery system that will inspire your learners and give a solid educational foundation.
Finally, you’ll put all these parts together in a project-based final course where you’re required to develop a final education product – as well as a thesis paper supporting it – that represents either your current career path, or what you hope to achieve.

Description
As the final course in the degree program, Education Media Project Development is your chance to develop a final education product based on your current or future career paths. The analysis of the learner, evaluation of established learning principles that support the media design, and a review of how you used the technology to support your vision will all play a role in your assessment. Additionally, you’ll be required to present a thesis paper that touches upon everything you have learned in your degree. Your peers and faculty members will review your work and conclusions, and offer feedback based on its merits.
