Laura Daniel
Course Director | Typography and Page Layout
Laura Daniel brings nearly 20 years of graphic design experience to the typography and page layout course. Laura's work ranges from designing theatrical productions, entertainment design, video, multimedia, interactive and web design, to the vast array of print projects she has designed and produced over the years. She is the recipient of 11 national graphic design awards for many notable clients.
Jeff Lang
Course Director | Designing Computer Graphics
Jeff is a Florida native who studied in Virginia and worked for many years as a graphic designer in the publication and advertising industry in Washington D.C. Jeff has done freelance work for companies such as Disney, Toyota, Peterbilt and Smith & Wesson.
Jack Cottle
Course Director
Jack Cottle has created graphics and animation for clients such as The Learning Channel, Siemens Medical, Universal Studios, and Disney Cruise Lines. His skills range from illustration, storyboarding, compositing, and broadcast design to interactive multimedia and web authoring. Jack is an Adobe Certified Expert in Adobe After Effects. While proficiency with today's digital tools is important, he considers creativity and problem-solving skills to be a designer's most valuable tools.
Darrell Moore
Course Director | Digital Video
Darrell Moore is an author, educator, and filmmaker. Darrell has been involved in education for more than 18 years, designing multimedia for K-12 science curricula, teaching at the collegiate level, and creating corporate eLearning materials for the medical and pharmaceutical industries; he taught Computer Graphics and Video Compositing at Columbia College in Chicago from 1993 to 1996. He has done extensive commercial eLearning design and programming work for clients such as Pfizer, Roche, and Humana Corporation. Darrell has written several books on film history, including Horror Films: The Best, Worst and Most Unusual and The Great Movies, a 12-volume series. He was also editor-in-chief of Video Times magazine for several years. Darrell wrote, produced and directed several original productions for home video release, including Great Crimes of the Century.
Jeremy J. Ralph
Department Chair of Design | Course Director, Corporate Branding
Jeremy J. Ralph is an enthusiastic, driven person with an extensive background in print marketing, package design, project management, product development, advertising, brand design, and brand management. Jeremy has experience working as creative director designing print collaterals and packaging for design studios and advertising agencies, having worked with retail companies such as Wal-mart, Dicks Sporting Goods, Ducks Unlimited, Sports Authority.
