Diane Diaz
Course Director | Business Storytelling and Brand Development
Diane Diaz has spent most of her life in Florida, and her education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of West Florida and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. She has a background in market research having managed a focus group facility, as well as working at a television station as a research director. Most recently, Diane directed the marketing efforts for a national land development company in the Central Florida community, which drew on her extensive background in marketing, advertising and promotions as well as brand development and management.
Jake Johnson
Course Director | Advanced Search Engine Optimization
Jake Johnson's educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Miami and a Master’s Degree from the University of Central Florida. Jake has worked for Century 21 since 2005 and built his business from scratch to multi-million dollar sales entirely through Internet advertising.
Dr. Anthony Rivers
Course Director | New Media Marketing Analysis
Dr. Rivers earned a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of South Carolina, and a M.S. and a Ph.D. (in Computer Engineering) from North Carolina State University. Shortly after receiving his Ph.D., Dr. Rivers moved to Viatec Research, where he created business plans, developed prototypes and conducted research in auto-adaptive web based learning, systems reliability and mobile technology. Currently his research interests are in virtual economies, social media and mobile technologies.
Dr. Sharon Wyly
Course Director | Media Literacy and Research Methodologies
Sharon Wyly was received her bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the University of Central Florida and a degree in film and video production from the University of Texas. She has worked as a line producer and a pre-production consultant for independent feature films. Additionally, she taught film and digital media classes at Valencia Community College and the University of Central Florida. Most recently she received her doctorate degree in educational leadership.
Daniel Yonts
Course Director
Daniel Yonts was born and raised in the Richmond, Virginia area. His education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Psychology from the University of the State of New York and a Master’s Degree in Business from Webster University. He has worked as an Internet Marketing and Technology Consultant for leading retailers, media outlets, financial services companies, government agencies, start-ups and small businesses. His clients have included firms such as Barnes and Noble, Brookstone, Anthem, the US Army, Franklin Mint, and tourist boards (i.e., Ireland, South Africa, Jamaica). Prior to launching his own consulting firm, PayingAttention.net, Daniel served as the Director of Internet Marketing and Technology for FirstStreet, a Top 400 e-Retailer.
