Dr. Amar Almasude
Course Director | Design Strategies and Motivation
Amar Almasude has taught at Ohio University, Francis Marion University, the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Capella University, and Walden University, covering topics such as Microcomputer Applications, Multimedia Design, Multimedia Development, Television Production, Video Production, and Instructional Design. He also served as Assistant Producer for PBS, Dubbing Director for Inspirational Films, and as a consultant for various government and private agencies.
Laura Biase
Course Director | Brand Development
Laura Biase is an enthusiastic person who brings an array of brand management, marketing, promotions, advertising, and special events experience from her work at companies like MTV Networks’ Nickelodeon Studios, The Big Red Boat, The Health Network, Darden Restaurants’ Red Lobster, and PUSH, where she supervised Earl of Sandwich and Orlando Harley Davidson accounts. She is the receipient of two Darden Brilliance Awards for the introduction of a healthy Kids Menu, and for her work on the Promotional Pipeline project.
Colleen Cleveland
Course Director | Designing Success
Colleen Cleveland started her professional career in the unique role of Visual Artist at the Center for Robot Assisted Search & Rescue, developing multimedia for public exposure efforts as well as scientific venues. Expanding out from Artificial Intelligence, she proceeded into the Simulation and Gaming industry, specializing in military training. She then moved on to education, teaching Game Technology & Design. In addition to her work at Full Sail University, she currently freelances in Graphic Design and Interactive Media in her spare time.
Eileen O'Malley
Course Director | Ethics of Design
Eileen O’Malley began her career as a copy editor designing the Space & Science and Local sections at Florida Today. She also worked as a public safety/education reporter at Ocala Star-Banner, and eventually returned to school to fulfill a lifelong dream of practicing Criminal Law, which she did for two years. After teaching a Criminal Law class, she loved it so much that she decided to teach full-time.
