Full Sail Hosts Wine Tasting to Benefit Variety Children’s Charity of Orlando

WINTER PARK, FL, September 6, 2007 – On Friday, October 26th at 7:00 pm Full Sail Real World Education will be hosting The Dunhill Companies prestigious wine tasting event to benefit the Variety – The Children’s Charity.

The event will be held on the Full Sail campus and will feature an array of fine wines with food provided by Josh Oakley of the Enzian Theater. Tickets for the event are $100.00 for individual tickets, $500.00 for six tickets and $1,000.00 for a dozen tickets.

The last event was held in 2003 at Hard Rock Live in Orlando. The event’s 650 attendees raised over $50,000 for The Arnold Palmer Children’s Hospital. The Dunhill Wine Tasting has built a strong reputation in the five years of the event.

The Dunhill Companies and Variety Children’s Charity will donate all proceeds raised from the event to The Howard Phillips Development Center at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. The mission of Variety Children’s Charity of Orlando is to improve the lives of children around Central Florida. The money Variety Orlando raises stays locally to help the children in our community.

Variety offers support locally through several programs.

Our Kids on the Go program continues to be Variety Children’s Charity of Orlando’s main initiative dedicated to providing mobility equipment for children (ages 18 and under) with mental and physical disabilities.

Locally, Variety has furnished 46 vans in order to provide safe transport for children to appointments and activities. Some of the organizations utilizing our Sunshine Coach program are; The Russell Home for Atypical Children, Boys and Girls Clubs, BETA House, Frontline Outreach, Quest Kids, The Grove and Edgewood Children’s Ranch.

Through Variety at Work volunteers have the opportunity to share in the joy of putting a smile on a child’s face by taking them to the zoo, museums, concerts, sports, amusement parks, etc.
