Advanced Session Recording

The culmination of your Recording Arts education, Advanced Session Recording is where you’ll bring together all of the technical, creative, and personal skills you’ve honed throughout the program to work with a live band in the studio. These real world recording sessions will be complemented by extensive study of contemporary music production techniques like signal flow and synchronization, as well as learning how to effectively collaborate with different artists in bringing their vision to life – with lab scenarios that stress creative problem-solving and proper studio protocol and etiquette. More than a simulation, this is working with real bands, creating real music, and it's as close to professional music production as you can get in school.
