Full Sail Hosts Student Resource Fair
Students gathered in the Full Sail Live venue to explore the university’s variety of resources.
Full Sail recently hosted another Student Resource Fair, gathering students in the Full Sail Live venue to explore the university’s various available student support resources.
“I am thrilled to welcome our vibrant community to this year’s Student Resource Fair,” said Jessica Henlon, Director of Student Development. “This event embodies our commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where every student can feel connected, belong, and persist towards graduation.”
Booths were set up throughout Full Sail Live by several departments, including Career Development, Academic Advising, Financial Aid, Military Student Services, Student Development, International Student Services, Library, and more. Students had the opportunity to speak individually with each department as they floated through the room, chatting and networking with Full Sail staff and faculty. Those looking to further explore the campus spoke with Campus Touring, who offer an in-depth tour covering the entire university, while those seeking aid in the academic journey could sit down with Academic Coaching, who help students develop skills for personal and professional growth.
In addition to information, students also had access to free professional headshots to add to their resumes and LinkedIn profiles as they enter the workforce. Jessica explains, “By utilizing the resources available, we support the student’s dream and help them achieve their goals.”
The event also included pizza, snacks, and an exciting raffle in which students won prizes and Full Sail swag to take home. While mingling throughout the fair, students found peers both in and outside of their degree programs, networking with potential future co-workers and making new friends within their Full Sail community.
“Together [at Full Sail], we are building a community where drive, passion, and inclusivity lead the way to endless possibilities, encouraging everyone to learn and grow, always,” said Jessica.
