GRAMMY Winner Tye Tribbett Records New Album at Full Sail University
When Tye Tribbett set out to record his upcoming gospel album, he had no idea that his journey would lead him to a university campus.
Through a connection with Recording Arts Program Director Brandon Egerton, two-time GRAMMY winner Tye Tribbett took a leap of faith and decided to record his album at Full Sail rather than a traditional studio. After touring the school, Tye became excited about the unique opportunities Full Sail has to offer.
“The technology, the excellence… It’s like they’re saying ‘your wish is our command.’ Anything is possible here.” Tye said. “Even if you want to shoot a video, they have a department for that. Everything you need is here – it’s a one-stop shop.”

After beginning the recording process months ago, Tye has worked closely with both Brandon and Darren Schneider – a Recording Arts course director who has produced for legends like Deep Purple and Backstreet Boys. Now halfway through the album, Tye is very excited to see his vision come to fruition.
As for future plans, Tye is looking forward to a spring tour with Live Nation, and wants to focus on bringing local communities together with his music to spread love, positivity, and hope.
