The Project and Portfolio III: Sportscasting course combines hands-on learning experiences with summative and formative portfolio assessments. The course surveys the nature of modern media audiences. Students will learn how the media measures audience size and engagement levels. In addition, they will examine the tools used to conduct those measurements. The course explores how the behavior of modern audiences can vary based on the platform through which an audience experiences content. Applying their knowledge of audience behavior, students will pitch story ideas and develop effective content strategies.
