Trends in Tech is a new event hosted by Indienomicon and Central Florida virtual reality companies. The goal of the event is to start a conversation about the many applications of virtual reality and the potential for businesses to use the technology.
The event will cover a range of applications for VR, including largescale entertainment and theme parks; marketing and advertising; experience design; gaming; retail and shopping; education & training; and others. Speakers include founders of Central Florida companies working with VR technology and researchers at local educational institutions. Full Sail University is a sponsor of the event and has provided Full Sail Live as the event venue.

The event will begin with an introduction to virtual reality. Each segment will be approximately 20 minutes long, in a variety of formats. The intended audience for the event includes those who are only passingly familiar with VR the content will focus on the applications of the technology in business rather than design and development. The cost of the event is $12, with tickets sold through Eventbrite.
