Doghead Simulations, an enterprise virtual reality software company co-founded by two Full Sail University graduates and Hall of Fame members, Chance Glasco and Elbert Perez, alongside industry veterans Mat Chacon and Lily Snyder, and Full Sail University are proud to announce the opening of Doghead Simulations Eastern U.S. Headquarters on the Full Sail University Campus.
The newly-constructed Doghead Simulations Eastern U.S. Headquarters located in Winter Park, FL, is a multipurpose office and event space for the company to build, test and give demos of its VR product, rumii. The space provides a new opportunity for Doghead Simulations to integrate into the education at Full Sail University, offering real world opportunities for students to interact with an enterprise VR and emerging technology company.
“We’re always working to stay on the cutting edge of technology at Full Sail,” said Isis Jones, Full Sail University Chief Information Officer. “We’re ecstatic to see the goals of our institution and the creative vision of our graduates intersect in this new space and we’re so happy to welcome Chance and Elbert back home to their alma mater to share their experiences and build yet another successful era in the tech industry.”
Doghead Simulations’ virtual reality product, rumii, is an immersive communications software that enables teams worldwide to assemble and collaborate with a suite of productivity tools in virtual meeting spaces. Full Sail University alumni, CCO Chance Glasco (Infinity Ward, Call of Duty, Medal of Honor) and CTO Elbert Perez (Xbox One, HTC Vive, SmartGlass, Halo 4), are two of the four founding members of Doghead Simulations, alongside CEO Mat Chacon (software start-up management veteran) and COO Lily Snyder (globally recognized leader in the VR industry and specialist in distributed software teams) with the team being augmented by CMO Amber Osborne (reported by Forbes as #2 most influential CMO). Doghead Simulations is a globally distributed technology company that built rumii to fundamentally improve the way people communicate. They will also be announcing their latest Early Access Release for rumii, which will be publically available for download at rumii.net for PC and MAC. rumii runs in VR on the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.
“We are so excited to be part of the Full Sail family, a globally recognized leader and pioneer in education and entertainment. The opening of our Eastern U.S. Headquarters on the Full Sail campus will allow us to grow throughout the U.S. and be our launching pad to the rest of the world. At Doghead Simulations, we are fundamentally improving the way people communicate and the partnership we have with Full Sail solidifies the commitment of both our organizations to improving education through the power of VR.” said Mat Chacon, CEO of Doghead Simulations.
