Full Sail University Announces Graduate Results for The 59th Annual GRAMMY® Awards

Full Sail University is proud to announce that 12 graduates worked on 8 GRAMMY®-winning projects across 8 categories at the 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards, which aired live on CBS, Sunday, February 12, 2017 and was hosted by James Corden.

Of these graduates, one alum, Jordan “DJ Swivel” Young (Recording Arts, 2005), earned a GRAMMY award of his very own for his work as mixer and producer on The Chainsmokers featuring Daya – Don’t Let Me Down, which won Best Dance Recording.

Full Sail University graduates have mixed, recorded, or assisted on 19 GRAMMY-winning Album of the Year releases over the past 27 years. In total, 41 Full Sail graduates were credited on 46 artists’ releases that were nominated across 36 separate categories.

Over 900 students, alumni, staff and faculty participated in the university’s annual on-campus GRAMMY Celebration, which coincided with another special tradition: the official start of Full Sail’s 8th Annual Hall of Fame Week on campus.
