Lightning to Host ‘Bolts Chel Challenge’ NHL 20 Tournament

Final four participants will face off in front of a live audience at The Fortress at Full Sail University on February 1

The Tampa Bay Lightning will be hosting the “2020 Bolts Chel Challenge” with qualifying matches kicking off on January 18, 2020. The final four participants will face off in front of a live audience at The Fortress at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida on February 1, 2020 for a $5,000 prize purse.

Participants will compete in NHL 20 on PlayStation 4 in a 1-on-1 format with the online qualifying being a double elimination bracket moderated by official tournament organizer, Smash.gg. Games will open on January 18 and will also take place on January 19, if necessary. The final four participants will go to The Fortress at Full Sail University for a final showdown on February 1 with the action streamed LIVE on Twitch.tv/boltsgamingofficial. The Finals will feature live best-of-three matches with the winners taking home part of a $5,000 purse.

The stream commentary will come from Rare Drop, the Official Content Partners of Bolts Gaming. New this year, Bolts Gaming is excited to introduce the official venue of the Bolts Chel Challenge, The Fortress at Full Sail University, to host the live finals event.

Bolts Chel Challenge registration will open on December 18, 2019 at 11 a.m. by visiting https://smash.gg/bolts. Participants must be 16 years of age or older and from a qualifying country to be eligible.
