TV4 Entertainment Partners With Full Sail University To Expand Content Production And Distribution Capabilities

Today, TV4 Entertainment and Full Sail University announced an innovative strategic partnership that will leverage Full Sail’s advanced production facilities and large pool of student and alumni talent. TV4 Entertainment, named last week by Fast Company as one of the World’s Most Innovative Companies for 2019, is Full Sail University's latest entertainment partner.

As part of the agreement, TV4 Entertainment will relocate its global headquarters to the Full Sail University campus, bringing its original production studio and portfolio of streaming services and companies to Orlando. This collaboration adds to the Orlando region’s growing entertainment and technology landscape and provides real-world employment opportunities to Full Sail graduates.

"TV4 Entertainment has grown significantly in the past year with the launch of our original film and television studio, and several new streaming and distribution ventures. Our strategic partnership with Full Sail University gives their talented graduates real-life opportunities with a global platform today to help them become the leaders of tomorrow’s entertainment industry,” said TV4 Entertainment CEO, Jon Cody. “This innovative new approach allows us to effectively scale our workforce and to quickly leverage Full Sail’s world-class production facilities that rival any major Hollywood studio. We can't wait to share the great stories we’ll create together with the world.”

“In welcoming our strategic partners TV4 Entertainment to Full Sail’s campus, we are excited to collaborate, innovate and educate the next generation of media and entertainment industry professionals, while expanding employment opportunities for our graduates,” said Full Sail University President, Garry Jones. “Serving as the global headquarters for TV4 Entertainment’s portfolio of streaming and original content entities aligns with our university’s mission to provide real-world education, and further enhances the established technology and entertainment landscape of our region.”

The strategic partnership will officially kick off in April, as a number of Full Sail graduates across several disciplines will join TV4 Entertainment’s employment ranks. In the coming years, TV4 Entertainment plans to bring hundreds of new jobs to the Orlando region, with a majority of hires coming from Full Sail’s graduate pool. In addition, TV4 Entertainment will engage directly with university students and faculty — providing the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on educational experience in areas including video and multi-media content production, streaming technology platforms, media operations, distribution, and marketing.

“TV4 Entertainment will further develop our region’s media and entertainment industry. Its partnership with Full Sail University perfectly illustrates Orlando’s collaborative educational ecosystem,” said Orlando Economic Partnership President and CEO Tim Giuliani. “Orlando’s creative class continues to grow with companies like TV4 Entertainment.”

TV4 Entertainment will base its headquarters in a multipurpose office and production space on Full Sail’s campus, with additional offices in Los Angeles, New York, Singapore, and Rio de Janeiro. Recently, TV4 Entertainment’s original film and television banner, Concrete Club, released its first titles — the award-winning documentary Lucha VaVoom: Inside America’s Most Outrageous Show and UK-based drama Together. In addition, TV4 Entertainment is planning the launch of the first global streaming network dedicated to mental and physical health and wellness, Digital Health Networks.

A formal ribbon-cutting ceremony for TV4 Entertainment’s new headquarters is scheduled to take place at Full Sail University on February 28, 2019 at 10 a.m. EST.
