COURSE HIGHLIGHTS

Applied Human-Computer Interaction - This course explores human-computer interaction (HCI) from an interdisciplinary perspective, utilizing concepts from computer science, design, and psychology. Topics covered will include input/output devices, mobile-device constraints, universal design, interaction styles, cognitive load, and information processing.

Microcontrollers ‐ This course is a practical electronics course for any engineer developing peripherals for simulation. The course presents an understanding of basic electronics and covers theory, history, soldering, and components for USB sensing and control from a PC.

Virtual and Augmented Reality ‐ This course will introduce students to the concepts and technology at the forefront of development in virtual reality and augmented reality. Students will study the incorporation of current consumer-grade equipment and peripherals as well as the development of new devices.
