An aspiring artist from a young age, Jaime Palmer long ago “became fascinated by the ability to communicate conceptually, utilizing visual medias [such as] photography, animation, video, installation and graphic design.” That passion never faded, and after graduating from Full Sail’s Online Entertainment Business Master’s Degree Program, she’s been able to successfully channel that creative energy into her career.

“It’s been wonderful because I’ve been able to create… the personal background, confidence, and information that I need to be able to take my own career into the future,“ Jaime says.

In 2004, Jaime founded Black Kat Studio and served as the Vice President. During that time, she was also working as a website designer and computer technician for Sun Digital – an IT support company. As the two Ocala, Florida businesses began to grow and succeed, Jaime recognized the advantages of a potential merger. She sold Black Kat Studios to Sun Digital in 2007, and she has transitioned into role of website and creative director. They now operate as an integrated corporation.

Black Kat Studio is the graphic and website design firm that provides the creative services to clients around the world. Its specialties include graphic art, photography, SEO, e-commerce and online shopping websites, mobile and social network marketing expertise, and video and web design.

Sun Digital is comprised of the IT problem solvers with separate facilities to handle computer repairs and data recovery. To keep track of the day-to-day issues, it also has a fully featured phone-, web- and ticket-based support system.

Even with her current successes, Jaime isn’t ready to slow down yet. Her next goal: entertainment mogul.

“My dream is to become a director that handles projects and features in entertainment that [are] on a global scale and can cross genres and social structure,” Jaime says.
