Every year, the Grammys honor music’s biggest accomplishments from the industry’s brightest stars – and Full Sail grads are often in the credits of the night’s nominated projects. For the 2024 Grammys, more than 45 grads worked on 50-plus nominated projects in 39 categories, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best R&B Album. When the Grammys were awarded on February 4, 13 Grammy-winning projects in 15 different categories featured the work of 17 Full Sail grads.

Two of those grads, Colin Leonard and Sebastian Krys, won their own Grammys. Colin won a "Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical" Grammy for his mastering and engineering work on singer/songwriter Victoria Monét's Jaguar II album, which was also nominated six other Grammys in categories like Record of the Year and Best R&B Album. Additionally, Sebastian picked up an award for his production work on "Best Latin Rock or Alternative Album" winner Vida Cotidiana, by Juanes.

Full Sail grads also cropped up in the credits of Best Progressive R&B Album nominees. Alum Kimberly Krysiuk worked as a Composer and Producer on Since I Have a Lover by 6LACK, while grad Fabian Marasciullo contributed to mixing on Janelle Monáe’s The Age of Pleasure. SZA’s album SOS got some help from grad Micah Pettit, who worked as a Recording Engineer and Composer.

Grads were also credited on projects in several other categories. Graduate Bill Mims was an Assistant Recording Engineer on Lana Del Rey’s album Did you know there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd, which was nominated for Album of the Year and Best Alternative Music Album. MICHAEL by Killer Mike was nominated for Best Rap Album, and grads Angad “Bainz” Bains, Ken Oriole, and Shelton Oliver all worked on the album.

Full Sail grads also contributed to nominated works in categories like Best Country Album, Best Rock Album, Best Latin Pop Album, and Best Jazz Instrumental Album.
