Full Sail University hosted over 100 developers and tech professionals from the Orlando area for the recent "ODevs: Unleashing Innovation in Orlando" event. The evening gathering was the latest of several Orlando Devs events that have been hosted at Full Sail.

“ODevs and Full Sail have collaborated quite a few times in the past, and this has actually been a favorite venue of ours. It's a great location,” shared Rajiv Menon, CEO of Informulate LLC and Board Member of the Orlando Devs group.

“It is really important for people to have a place to meet and come together and learn about all the cool things that are happening here. And we try to collect as many leaders through our connections,” he added.

The event kicked off with a brief presentation by ODevs President Brian Rinaldi – including a short video message from Mayor of Orlando Buddy Dyer. Afterward, Phoebe Elefante, Full Sail’s Program Director for Game Design and Interactive Technology, took to the podium to chat about her work at Full Sail.

The evening also featured a panel and presentations from Jacques Fu, ODevs Treasurer and Co-Founder of Staxx, and John Rivers, CEO of 4R Restaurant Group and 4Roots Farm. Developers networked before and after the event.

“ODevs has about 8,000 [members], and we've been serving the community for many years,” said Rajiv.
