Take Charge of Your Career Goals
We’ll Help You Keep Your Career Top of Mind
Career development is a cornerstone of your education at Full Sail, whether you’re attending on campus or online.
From innovative programs like Global Professionalism Standard (GPS), to specific Career Modules that will equip you with career strategies, to ongoing access to our Career Development specialists, we provide you with the tools to take charge of your career goals, both during your education and after graduation.
Career development services are open to you throughout your education, as you begin to hone in on specific career goals. Our advisors partner with campus and online students to develop a career plan, helping with everything from industry advice to practice interviews. As you get ready to graduate, they will also be able to help with identifying strategies to help you find the job you’re looking for.
You’ve got goals, and our programs are designed to help you get to where you want to be. Our campus and online undergraduate programs feature seven career modules that are threaded throughout the curriculum to help keep you on track with your professional development as you progress through your degree program.
You’ll also participate in the Global Professionalism Standard (GPS) program, which tracks your approach to your education, behavior in class, and participation in the Full Sail community. Having a high GPS score attached to your résumé says a lot about your ability to conduct yourself professionally in a creative environment.
Throughout the year, our Industry Outreach department hosts employers for career-focused events and networking events with major employers. They also organize larger hiring events with a wide variety of companies looking for skilled graduates for both internships and permanent positions.
Once you’ve graduated, you also may be able to take advantage of Full Sail alumni events in your local area. These events happen throughout the year all over the country, giving grads from all degree programs the opportunity to catch up with classmates and build their networks. Often our grads find that their best networking connections are other Full Sail grads.
