In this program, students hone their writing skills through a variety of exercises, assignments, and projects that prepare them to meet the needs of an industry that is powered by creative visionaries.
This program teaches students the necessary skills to pursue professional creative writing careers within the world of entertainment, while exploring the art of storytelling and the language of different media outlets.
Students explore how to create, improve, and implement multimedia instructional tools that will inspire and engage audiences, while also building a solid instructional design foundation.
Students become introduced to instructional design fundamentals and multimedia tools in order to create engaging learning environments. Credits in this program can be transferred to the Instructional Design & Technology master's program.
In the IE courses of study, students build skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking using rich multimedia learning tools, while focusing on the language skills tested in university-recognized, language proficiency exams.
Students build skills in interactive content production and brand development as they learn how to navigate current and emerging media channels.
This program is designed to give students a practical working knowledge of media delivery channels, allowing them to create the kind of dynamic news content that’s reaching today’s audiences.
This program gives students a solid grasp on the foundations of traditional public relations methods, while also helping them plan, research, execute, and evaluate effective media strategies.
Developed in collaboration with legendary sportscaster Dan Patrick, this program prepares aspiring talent for the communication and production needs of tomorrow’s sports media landscape – with an emphasis on hands-on experience and professional mentorship.
This program is designed to help students learn the principles of marketing while using new media strategies to help sports organizations reach fans.
