Full Sail Returns as Sponsor for 33rd Annual Florida Film Festival
The university celebrates its 21st year as the festival’s primary sponsor.
The Florida Film Festival returns April 12 to the Enzian Theater in Maitland, Florida with a fresh lineup of independent films. Now in its 33rd year, the Oscar-qualifying festival is a 10-day event screening more than 160 films. Full Sail University has been involved with the film festival for 27 years, and this year marks the university’s 21st year as primary sponsor.
During the festival, audiences can attend forums or sit in on showings of current, independent, and international movies. All of the festival’s forums are free and open to Full Sail staff and students. On April 17 from 11AM - 12:30 PM, Full Sail will be hosting a free forum for university staff and students at the Winter Park Library called “Artificial Intelligence and its Impact on the Film Industry.” Additionally, students and staff can attend the Enzian’s free showing of The Wizard of Oz in Winter Park as a part of the theater’s Popcorn Flicks in the Park series.
The festival takes place April 12-21. Tickets and the event’s full schedule are available on the festival’s website.
