Learning

The Apple ecosystem has been a cornerstone of learning and teaching at Full Sail for many years. Project LaunchBox™ was created in 2007 using Apple computers and it forms an integral part of our learning infrastructure. Students in online degree programs receive an iPad or a MacBook Pro to complete coursework in our learning management system. In our campus programs, many of our students receive a MacBook Pro as part of their Project LaunchBox. Apple tools help faculty deliver coursework in innovative and inclusive ways; from multi-modal curriculum design using iMovie and GarageBand and labs and studios that run Mac Pro and Mac Mini workstations to instruction in the Swift programming language and digital audio workstations that use Logic Pro.

Success

Since Full Sail introduced Project LaunchBox™ in 2007, Apple has been a great resource in keeping students productive when it comes to end user technology and support. Due to the accelerated nature of our curriculum, students need fast and consistent support to keep them on pace with the work required. When students encountered technical issues during the pandemic, access to support services through AppleCare enabled them to get back on track and complete their coursework with minimal delay.
