Club Spotlight: Tabletop Games Club
The club is open to students from all degree programs, focused on playing card games, board games, and role-playing games.

In 2008, Game Development course director John O’Leske noticed a growing trend around campus: students were playing card games in the hallways between class, namely Magic: The Gathering. John founded the Tabletop Games Club to provide students with a designated space to come together and discover new and old analog games.
The club is open to students from all degree programs, and you can typically find them playing card games, board games, and tabletop role-playing games – basically anything that’s not electronic. John’s goal for the group is to bring students together and introduce them to games they may not have experienced before. Staff and students alike have also used this group as an opportunity to playtest new game ideas of their own.
The group meets weekly on Fridays from 5 – 11 p.m. for general group play sessions.
