25+ Full Sail Grads Credited on ‘Superman’
Graduates worked both on and off set for one of 2025’s biggest movies.
This year, audiences celebrated the return of one of the most recognizable superheroes to the silver screen: Superman. Grossing more than $600 million worldwide, Superman was one of the biggest movies of 2025. Hundreds of people worked behind the scenes to bring the Man of Steel and his flying dog Krypto to life – and Full Sail grads worked alongside them. More than 25 Full Sail graduates were credited on Superman, contributing to the movie’s animation, music, on-set needs, and more.
Multiple grads helped out during filming by working on set. Film grads Sidartha Biswa and Nick Gardella kept things running smoothly as Production Assistants, while fellow Film grads Nick Colvin (Grip) and Jeff Wallace (Lighting Control Technician) helped set up and support cameras. Alum Dustin Pitan worked on the logistics of on-location shooting as a Key Assistant Location Manager, while Thomas William Vincent got cameras and lights in place as a Rigging Electrician.
Off set, Full Sail grads worked on Superman’s visual and audio effects. Computer Animation alumni Alexander Unruh (Digital Artist), Alex Wolfe (Visualization Artist), and Conner Wessinger (Visual Effects Artist) assisted with polishing the movie’s imagery, while Recording Arts grads Oliver Hug (Music Editor) and Geraldo Gutierrez (Re-recording Mix Technician) helped get the movie’s music and sounds just right.
“The entire Full Sail University community celebrates the excellent work of our graduates, and we are incredibly proud of the amazing work they completed in the production of Superman. Congratulations to them!” says Jay Noble, Full Sail’s Vice President of Alumni Relations.
If you missed it in the theaters or just want to experience the film again, Superman is now streaming on HBO Max.
