‘The Hollywood Reporter’ Names Full Sail a Top 25 Music School
Full Sail was recognized for its focus on engineering, notable alumni, and the impressive fact that grads have mixed, recorded, or assisted on 18 of the past 24 GRAMMY Album of the Year winners.
Every year, entertainment trade magazine The Hollywood Reporter releases a ranking of the world’s top music schools – compiled by editors and academic and industry insiders – and we were excited to see Full Sail University on this year’s list. Full Sail was recognized for its focus on engineering, notable alumni (including Hall of Fame inductees Gary Rizzo and Sebastian Krys), and the impressive fact that grads have mixed, recorded, or assisted on 18 of the past 24 GRAMMY Album of the Year winners.
This is the second year in a row that Full Sail has appeared on the pages of the magazine: in 2013 the school was featured in the “Music Business Schools with Buzz” story.
The Hollywood Reporter is published weekly. “The Top 25 Music Schools” feature originally appeared in the November 14th issue, which is on newsstands now.
