Full Sail University is proud to announce that it has once again been named by the national entertainment publication, The Hollywood Reporter, as one of the 2016 “Top 25 Music Schools.” The prestigious list appears in the December 2 issue of the magazine, which hit newsstands on November 21.

Researched and compiled by The Hollywood Reporter, this ranking highlights elite institutions serving to educate students within the vast disciplines of the music industry - ranging from film composition and live performance, to recording engineering, concert production and more. Full Sail University appears on the list alongside The Juilliard School, Berklee College of Music, London’s Royal College of Music, New York University, and Yale School of Music, among others, and was highlighted for its curriculum in Music Business, Recording Arts and Show Production.

This latest feature marks the fourth year in a row that The Hollywood Reporter has included Full Sail University as a featured Music School. In 2014 and 2015 Full Sail appeared on the “Top 25 Music Schools” list, in addition to being named one of only five “Music Business Schools with Buzz” in 2013.

The article spotlighted notable Full Sail University alumni: GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY Award-winning producer, Sebastian Krys, and Academy Award-winner for Best Achievement in Sound Mixing for the film Inception, Gary Rizzo. Both Krys and Rizzo were inducted into the Full Sail University Hall of Fame in 2009.
