About This Program

Graphic designers are in demand throughout nearly every field, creating eye-catching visuals across a wide range of mediums for various audiences.

The Graphic Design Associate of Applied Science degree program provides you with the focused knowledge and understanding of graphic art production. Courses explore art and design, digital publishing, interactive media design, web design, and how to handle critiques.

COURSE HIGHLIGHTS

Typography & Page Layout - Students will learn how to use typography as a critical part of page layout as they continue to build upon their knowledge of design concepts.

Logos & Symbols - Students will be exposed to the work of notable graphic designers and will learn the advanced techniques used in creating these pieces of visual poetry.

Creating Brand Experience - Students will explore branding as they discover how users experience brands and how businesses manage their brands across multiple media types.

Program design and course order — You do not need to sign up for specific classes every semester – all of our programs have a predetermined program design and course order.
