Bethesda Game Studios, the studio behind the popular narrative role-playing franchises Elder Scrolls and Fallout, recently introduced their first all-new title in 25 years with the September release of Starfield. Boasting rave reviews from critics and gamers alike, the game invites players into a sprawling space odyssey complete with custom starships, long-distance space travel, and an immersive story-rich universe which Bethesda is known for.

The Microsoft-exclusive title has logged more than 10 million players in its first 30 days, proving itself to be another home run for the long-running game studio. Developed over seven years on Bethesda’s award-winning Creation Engine, Starfield features the work of over 30 Full Sail graduates from areas of study including Art & Design, Business, Games, and Music & Recording.

Grads worked to bring Starfield’s expansive universe – boasting 120 playable star systems and over 1,000 planets for players to explore – to life with roles in level and sound design, environment art, audio engineering, and gameplay programming. From degree programs including Computer Animation, Recording Arts, Game Design, and Game Development, grads also contributed to the project with roles in technical testing, backend programming, quality assurance, editing, and face modeling.
