Full Sail University has proudly been named to the list of the Top 50 Best Film Schools of 2023 by TheWrap, a film industry magazine.

The publication highlighted Full Sail’s accelerated programs in Film, Digital Cinematography, and the Film Production MFA. It also noted the university’s 880,000 square feet of production facilities and more than 110 studios and labs.

In addition, the listing acknowledged a Full Sail grad who has won two Oscars for sound mixing. That grad is Gary Rizzo, a 1993 alum who studied recording arts and who is also a member of the Full Sail University Hall of Fame.



TheWrap came up with its 2023 rankings by examining class sizes, networking opportunities, alumni success, new facilities, and a number of other factors among a wide range of public and private institutions. Full Sail was honored with many other highly respected film schools, including New York University, the University of Southern California, and the University of Texas.
