Full Sail Serves as Primary Sponsor for 34th Annual Florida Film Festival
This is the university’s 22nd year as a primary sponsor of Central Florida’s Oscar-qualifying film festival.

Full Sail University will once again serve as the primary sponsor for the Florida Film Festival, marking 22 years of primary sponsorship and 28 years of involvement with the Oscar-qualifying festival.
Presented by Enzian – Central Florida’s nonprofit independent cinema – the 10-day festival will feature 170-plus films – 27 of which are world premieres – with works from across 41 countries. One of those films is No Leg Power from Film Production master’s grad Reign Burton, who wrote the short documentary which will be presented at the annual festival.
“It is an honor and privilege to be the primary sponsor of the Florida Film Festival once again. To have faculty and alumni involved in the Oscar-qualifying cultural event for filmmakers and film enthusiasts is an awe-inspiring experience,” shared Full Sail Visual Arts & Communication Education Director Rick Ramsey.
Instructors from Full Sail’s Film programs will also contribute to the festival, gathering at the Enzian to host the panel “Eavesdropping on Echoes – Exploring the Art of Sound for Film,” where they will explain and explore the impact of sound on film including dialogue, music, foley design, and more.
The 34th annual Florida Film Festival will be held from April 11 to April 20, 2025. Visit the 2025 Florida Film Festival site to learn more.
