Red Bull Conquest Orlando Qualifier set for the Fortress at Full Sail University

National fighting game circuit to return with qualifiers across eight U.S. cities, starting in Orlando on August 24

Red Bull Conquest is set to kick off its 2019 qualifying series at The Fortress at Full Sail University, the new state-of-the-art esports venue, in Orlando on Saturday, Aug 24.

This year’s Red Bull Conquest will begin its circuit of eight regional qualifiers across the U.S. in Florida, where the top fighting game players in the United States will do battle in a tournament circuit featuring popular fighting titles Street Fighter® V: Arcade Edition and TEKKEN 7, and newcomer Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st] (UNIST).

The Fortress is typically the home to Armada, Full Sail University’s varsity esports team, but on August 24 it will open its doors to the hundreds of competitors expected at Red Bull Conquest. The 11,200-square-foot facility is equipped with the latest gaming technology, 10 million pixels of LED wall, and an audio system equipped for a concert. It’s the perfect place to see Red Bull Conquest kick off this year’s competition.

Winners in each game will form a three-person team to represent the region and face off in the Red Bull Conquest 2019 National Finals in November against teams from seven other regions across the country. Before advancing to the National Finals, the Southeast’s best esports athletes must battle each other at The Fortress during the Red Bull Conquest Qualifier.

Esports commentator Persia will host the Orlando qualifier, which will be broadcast live on twitch.tv/redbull, and will be sharing her considerable FGC expertise.

The official partners for Red Bull Conquest 2019 are Alienware, HyperX, and Hori. Partners will be providing their latest hardware for all competitors at each regional qualifier and the finals.

Interested athletes can register for regional tournaments at smash.gg/RedBullConquest2019. The full Red Bull Conquest schedule will be announced soon. For more information about Red Bull Conquest, please visit RedBullConquest.com.
