Full Sail University Makes The Princeton Review List of Top Game Design Schools for 2024

Full Sail University is proud to share that it has been named one of the Top Game Design Schools by The Princeton Review in 2024. This year, Full Sail appears on both The Princeton Review’s Top 50 Game Design: Undergraduate Programs and Top 25 Game Design: Graduate Programs rankings.

"We highly recommend Full Sail University as well as the other outstanding schools on our 2024 lists to students considering a career in the exciting field of game design," said Rob Franek, The Princeton Review's Editor-in-Chief. "Their faculties are superb. Their facilities are state-of-the-art, and their alumni include many of the industry’s most successful game designers, developers, and entrepreneurs."

The Princeton Review chose the schools based on its 2023 survey of administrators at 150 institutions across the U.S. and abroad offering game design courses, majors, or degree programs. The survey collected information in four areas: academics, faculty, technology, and career prospects. More than 40 survey data points around academics, faculty, technology and career were used to tally the rankings.

The Princeton Review developed the Top Game Design Schools ranking project in 2010 with guidance from a national advisory board the company formed to help design the survey and methodology for the rankings. Advisory board members included administrators and faculty from respected game design school programs, and professionals from some of the top video game companies.

“We are honored to once again be included on The Princeton Review’s prestigious list of Top Game Design Schools,” stated Dr. Haifa Maamar, Executive Director of Emerging Technologies at Full Sail University. “Being included on both the graduate and undergraduate lists serves as a testament to Full Sail’s commitment to continue educating and inspiring our students.”
