For Full Sail graduate George Doman, representing individuals with disabilities and their value in the workforce is an important tenet. That’s why the grad is once again working alongside the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), this time traveling to Paris, France for the 2024 Paralympic Games.

Full Sail always says to reach out and don't be shy and that's what I've been doing… A lot of my ‘gusto,’ as people say to me sometimes, I think I accredit to Full Sail.”

As a digital content distributor during the games, George will work with International Paralympic Committee members and media rights stakeholders to share digital content, increasing visibility, reach, and engagement for the brand and its partners.

George, who connected with mentor and IPC Chief Brand and Communications Officer Craig Spence for the opportunity to join the team for the 2024 Paralympic Games, credits his Full Sail education for his tenacious networking. “Full Sail always says to reach out and don't be shy and that's what I've been doing… A lot of my ‘gusto,’ as people say to me sometimes, I think I accredit to Full Sail.”

After working with IPC on a global campaign called WeThe15, George is excited to return to the organization for the Paris games. “I'm looking forward to meeting the team that I was with that built WeThe15 back in 2021, and all the athletes I watched that inspired me to write that verse for the Rising Phoenix song. I want to tell them how much their story intertwined with our story, especially my story, and led me to one of the greatest organizations in the world, in my opinion, the International Paralympic Committee.”

George stresses the importance of representation and humanization of disabled individuals, urging more organizations to engage with the community outside of months focused on disability awareness. “Disability Pride Month is over and ‘poof!’ But the Paralympic Committee, they do their part year-round, and I want to see more companies doing that.”
