The Princeton Review Names Full Sail a 2025 Top Game Design School
Full Sail’s undergraduate and graduate game degree programs were featured on the organization’s annual list.

Education company The Princeton Review recently named Full Sail’s Game Design programs to its annual list of top game design schools. Both Full Sail’s undergraduate and graduate degree programs were featured on the organization’s 2025 Top 50 Game Design: Undergraduate and Top 25 Game Design: Graduate lists, respectively.
With graduates working at AAA studios and developers – including EA, Activision, Insomniac, and more – instructors with industry experience, Program Advisory Committees, and robust campus facilities, Full Sail’s game design programs are designed to give students the tools they need to succeed in their future careers
Campus Facilities
Blackmoor Studios
This collaborative space mimics a real-world game studio, with conference areas, office spaces, and presentation areas for students to plan, build, and present their video game projects.
Fabrication Lab
Simulation & Visualization students use this workshop to design and build their own tools with equipment like laser scanners, 3D printers, and CNC milling machines.
UX Lab
Students in Game degree programs conduct user experience tests in this lab. They determine how much a user enjoys their interaction with a piece of technology by evaluating eye movement, heart rate, sweat production, and other physiological measurements.
VR/AR Lab
In the VR/AR Lab, students can use headsets from companies like Oculus, Microsoft, and Magic Leap to develop virtual and augmented reality applications.
Studio V1: Virtual Production
Students in Full Sail’s Game Art program help develop real-time virtual backgrounds using game engines like Unreal Engine in Studio V1, Full Sail’s multi-million-dollar virtual production studio.
Full Sail University Orlando Health Fortress
The Fortress is the largest collegiate esports arena in the country, with 11,200 square feet providing space for up to 100 esports athletes and 500 spectators. It’s also home to Armada, Full Sail’s official esports team.
Armada HQ
Full Sail’s 2,743-square-foot campus gaming and esports center features a state-of-the-art production studio, dedicated gameplay areas, and broadcast and streaming facilities, inviting students to connect and share their passion for games.
