Josh Gudwin

Producer, Composer & Mix Engineer

Josh Gudwin is a five-time US and seven-time Latin Grammy-winning mix engineer, record producer, vocal producer, and musician, as well as a veteran of the U.S. Marines.

After graduation, Josh began his career at Record Plant Studios in Hollywood, CA, as an assistant engineer. He was soon promoted to session engineer, which earned him credits with many major label artists including T-Pain, T.I., Keyshia Cole and Lionel Richie. In 2008, Josh began working with five-time Grammy-winning songwriter and vocal producer Kuk Harrell, which allowed Josh to serve as an engineer for superstars including Justin Bieber, Rihanna, and Jennifer Lopez. In 2013, Josh became Justin Bieber’s exclusive vocal producer. Josh and Justin have completed 10 projects together, including the acclaimed albums Purpose, Changes, and Justice, on which Josh served as a producer, A&R, composer, mixer, and more.

Josh continues to work with artists spanning the world of pop and Latin music including record-breaking singles “Despacito (Justin Bieber Remix)" and Dua Lipa's “Levitating”; he also mixed the first four Bad Bunny albums and the J Balvin/Bad Bunny collaborative album Oasis. His most recent credits include Sabrina Carpenter, Tate Mcrae, BLACKPINK, Bebe Rexha, Jon Batiste, Ice Spice, and many others.

Josh recently served as Co-Chair of The Recording Academy’s Los Angeles Chapter P&E Wing and currently holds his second term as Governor of the Los Angeles Chapter Board.
